Who are we?

Volunteering Work in Zambia

Beyond School Network is a student-run, nonprofit-registered organization that aims to improve the educational, medical, and living conditions of the underserved, mainly in Kasaria, Zambia through volunteering and charity work.

Since our establishment in 2022, we began multiple community projects, some in collaboration with St. Phillip’s Eco Village, a South Korean Catholic nonprofit organization. We also established club branches in eight schools across the United States, spreading our mission.

Medical volunteering

Medical service is extremely inaccessible in Kasaria. Through the two-week free medical camps hosted by St. Phillip’s Eco Village, we help address this issue by assisting doctors, registering patients, and translating between Bemba or English and Korea.

Educational work

We believe that children are the future of a community. So we helped improve their educational environment by developing a series of textbooks in the local language, Bemba, for more than 300 illiterate students. We also didn’t forget to have fun with them!

Charity projects

We share our skills in many other ways: from playing in various charity concerts sponsored by St. Phillip’s Eco Village, raising over $100,000 in total, to constructing homes for the underserved in Korea, we seek ways to work toward our mission.
